No personal information is collected, stored or shared by the Pizzey and Knight apps unless you specifically authorise the process. The information so collected will not be used for anything other than that which is stated, and none of the information will be sold or made available to anyone.

While using the Pizzey and Knight apps you may encounter some or all of the following requests for access to personal information and data that are either necessary for the app to function or will assist in providing a fuller experience of the app and its functions.

Contact Details (Android)
We may ask you to register with your name and gmail on our registration database. This information is used to manage access to the app data download and is not used for any other purpose or shared with any other person or organistaion. Only your name and gmail are required and your gmail account and personal contacts are not accessed. This permission is required in order to register and use the app data.

Access to photos, media and files (Android)
The Android system requires the app to have your permission to access the photos, media and files downloaded with the app. No other data on your device is accessed by the app. This permission is required as the app cannot function without access to the data.

Access to SDCard (Android)
If the app data is downloaded to external SDcard, the Android system requires you to grant the app permission to access the sdcard in order to download and access the data. This permission is required if you wish to store the data on external SDcard.

GPS location
The app uses your GPS location to add GPS data to your sightings and bird lists, and also to locate birding sites near you. Recording your GPS location is only enabled while you are using the app and the data is only recorded to your device and is not recorded or stored by us or shared in any way.

Google Drive Access
The app requests access to your Google Drive in order to backup your bird lists to Pizzey and Knight app folders which are created on Google Drive for this purpose. Existing backup files are deleted before uploading the new backup. No other folders or information are accessed or downloaded from Google Drive.

App Statistics and Crash Reports
The app may collect statistics on usage and crash reports, but none of this information will be identifiable to you personally.

We may need to change this policy from time to time in order to address new issues and reflect changes in our apps. We will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, and how we might use that information. Please refer back to this policy regularly.
